17 | going to bible college to find a spouse

if you didn’t already know, the whole purpose of bible college is getting married.

yup.

there, i said it.

now there are the occasional outlying exceptions that already have a regular relationships and find no need for this purpose, thus actually focusing on one’s studies. but let’s face it, the number one discussion, first day of class, is looking around for your future wife or husband.

don’t deny it. you’re only wasting your energy. i’ve seen it with my own eyes.

further proof of this fact is that when you start dating someone at bible college, that relationship is on the fast track. thinking of dating for a few years and maybe a good year or so engagement? think again. that time will be more like about 2 weeks in all. you’ll be married by your first month at bible college, kids by your first year, and by the time you’ve graduated you’ll be sending your oldest to high school. don’t argue with science.

remember kids, this is no theory, it’s a fact. just cope.

so for those single folks, this is good news right? hark! there could be wedding bells in your very near future.

in a relationship at bible college already? well, let’s just say i expect a wedding invitation, soon.

already married in bible college? thank you for proving my point. again.
